It's way too late to change things up, ballots have already been cast in early voting areas, and they've been printed up in probably all 50 states. If the Republicans want to change things now, they're probably on the hook for millions of dollars to re-do ballots, track down people who've already voted, and recall ballots already sent. They're also going to have to print up all new campaign literature, signs, and so forth, re-shoot commercials, everything. They may even be required to contact donors and offer refunds.

They've passed the point of no return.

Which doesn't answer my biggest question: With 17 people running for the nomination on the Republican side, how come not one of them brought any of this bad news for Trump out? None of them. Some others were seasoned politicians who've run successful campaigns before. But not one Republican running for the nomination thought to bring any of this to light. Cowards, all.
