Just to note that advertising is an option on YT that you have to choose or can turn off
all the choice of the person posting the video

It's several places on YouTube and I didn't pay anything. It's 15 sec fake apology and over a minute canned speech.

but any ad run is paid for and part of that money goes to the user who posts the ad.
I used to do parody videos and made a surp[rising amount of money off youtube ads
Thats why so many kids and young entertainers use the site.
It pays them real money for their hits/views.
