Chuck Todd is a follower, never on the forefront of anything. If Trump were to regain his popularity, Todd would be the first to lay out the accolades on Trump for a comeback. Trump is as much a weasel as Paul Ryan.

Tweety couldn't hide his adoration for Pence after the VP debate, because, as he saw it Pence was "the adult in the room". He was really & truly shocked when he wasn't able to get everyone on the panel to agree with him. So it looks like he is hitching a ride on the Repub bus for the chance to hang with the classy, presidential, calm and prepared Pence.

He doesn't care much that Pence is a liar and a fundamentalist zealot..he looks the part more than Trump does and that is enough to impress Tweety Pie.

Really? In what alternate universe do you live Chuck Todd to think that Donald Trump ever had any moral authority. He is amoral in every facet of the human condition. Yesterdays tape just is one more abhorrent thing he has done on a long list. I feel the comments he made about the Central Park 5 were equally offensive.
