"I apologize if anyone was offended..."

That, my friends, is the hallmark of a bullshit, insincere apology.

It also calls into question the kind of people who were not only not offended by what he said, but had liked what he said.

And apologies are supposed to stand on their own. Pivoting to an attack on Bill and Hillary is nothing more than deflection on his part, and all he's doing is mitigating his own offensive behavior, furthermore attesting to his own insincerity.

He didn't fool anyone who doesn't want to be fooled. If anything, he's toast from here to Election Day.

It's simply the difference between doing right and doing wrong.

Dimwit Don's not sorry about what he said. He'd be perfectly fine with it--if no one raised an objection to it.

He's a tough guy in the locker room, apparently. Well as tough as it gets for a draft dodger, anyways.

Kudos to MowCowWhoHow III for first posting this. I added the text to the pic and posted to my Photobucket.

On edit: I meant MowCowWhoHow III posted the text, too, but not as part of the pic. I combined them.
