He's the creepy boss that you avoid being in the elevator with (or maybe the neighbor who keeps touching you, or the acquaintance who's way too familiar). He's the guy who, when he gets a chance, like at the office Christmas party, gropes you (or worse) and acts like you wanted it. Pence is the guy in HR who won't do anything about the creepy boss because he's the boss, and he's always been like that. Billy is the co-worker who thinks it's funny.

The same guys who deny that sexual harassment takes place anywhere. The same guys who deny that women are harassed on the street. Who don't care about it until it happens to someone they know. Men, like Billy Bush, who can't be bothered to say "knock it off" at the very least. YOU are part of the problem that perpetuates this kind of behavior.

It's not that women need protection from men like this; it's that men NEED TO STOP FUCKING ACTING LIKE PIGS. And everyone else needs to play a part in stopping it. Women also need to stop making excuses for men of their acquaintance who do this sort of thing and stand up for their coworkers who are harassed.
