earlier today that Trump might withdraw--saying everybody knows it's too late--even the Republicans and yet here we have how many Republicans calling for him to withdraw.

The Constitution recognizes individuals not parties. Donald J Trump is the name on the ballot. He got there through completely legal means, and any other name would have to meet state standards for nominees, including things like signed petitions. People are voting for him - that name. Changing the nominee would be irrelevant and unconstitutional.
