Lincoln Dave Levys, 29, of Wilkinsburg, Pa., was found guilty on Monday in Pittsburgh of third-degree murder for the 2014 death of his infant daughter ... Like many other antigovernment sovereign citizens, the defendant claimed the court and the laws it enforces have no jurisdiction over him, and he demanded to act as his own attorney. PANAMA CITY — An officer from the Panama City Police Department recently responded to Big Bend Community Based Care ... An officer went inside to make contact with the employees of Big Bend, one of whom said Davis had threatened to kill people. The employee said he had acquired a board that was placed over the window opening as Davis began banging on the window and yelling ... Several employees and clients witnessed the threats and corroborated Davis' aggressive behavior ... Davis was arrested ...

VAN BUREN TOWNSHIP, MI ... Lt. Mike Shaw said there are no new updates on the Sept. 30 incident that ended when troopers shot and killed 37-year-old Richard Parent, a white man from Flat Rock, after he turned toward troopers with a handgun ... Just before 1 p.m. Sept. 30, a trooper stopped Parent for not wearing his seat belt in Taylor. Parent claimed he was a "sovereign citizen" and didn't need to cooperate, then fled in his truck ... Parent got out of his truck with a 9mm Glock handgun, ran into the treeline and took up a shooting stance. Two troopers opened fire ...
