Assholes support Trump. We all know that. What I don't understand are the decent people who do.

My beloved 3rd Grade teacher, with whom I still stay in contact after 40 years, is a Trump supporter. In any other respect, you would not meet a more decent, kind, loving, generous woman in your life.

But when it comes to Trump, she thinks he's some kind of godsend. She's in her late 60's or early 70's; far too young to be suffering from advanced dementia; certainly not when all her other cognitive faculties seem to be at 100%.

I loved her dearly when I was in 3rd Grade. And I still have a great deal of affection for her. I just can't figure out this one aberration in her personality. She's from Kentucky. But hell, one of the nurse practitioners I work with is from Kentucky, and she's as liberal as I am.

HILLARY Clinton is a magnificent choice — for some voters. For everyone else, there is no reasonable alternative. We’re all tired of election hyperbole, but the importance to America’s future of this year’s presidential election cannot be overstated.

Both candidates are flawed. But one of them, Republican nominee Donald Trump, poses an enormous risk to America’s prosperity, security and stability.

Clinton, the Democrats’ nominee, clearly has the experience, knowledge and temperament needed to maintain and improve America’s standing at home and abroad.

Yes, we need more outsiders and candor in politics. That does not justify electing an unqualified candidate whose policies and behavior contradict the values of most Washingtonians and Americans, Republicans and Democrats, conservatives and liberals.....

with blind hatred of someone based on a false premise. This is what Hillary's has faced from the Right Wing Media since the eighties.

on the who what and where of the Clinton Hate Machine. How one Law firm and Mellon Family Money created this Cottage Industry is amazing. The L A Times is the only Media Group to do a truly comprehensive report answering the who what and where lately. And one of these Lawyers is a Consultant to the Con Job as well as his Spouse being his Campaign Manager. And people wonder where all these hate pieces are coming from, well it is right there in plain site.

I don't care who the fuck they run. It's never going to happen.

I suspect there are a lot of people on the other side that think like that too.

My brothers are Trump supporters (same age as your teacher) and they too are from Kentucky. It's generational. All of these gays, abortion, terrorists....they are afraid. Plain and simple. Liberals, Democrats, Progressives are caricatures of what is bad or evil in this world. And Jesus.

Is your 3rd grade teacher a pious person?

Subconsciously or otherwise, people seem to be attracted to his jingoist rhetoric. It was during the time of his disgusting comments about Latinos and Muslims, that his popularity seemed to soar. Almost all of the 'nice' Trump supporters I know, cite illegal immigration as their most pressing concern.

Can they be decent people? No, no, and no.

Even before the pussygate tape, support of Trump demonstrated to me everything I needed to know about that person.
