I really want Trump to lose most of his wealth from this pathetic clown show. Is that possible?

Will he become such a pariah that no one will do business with him and his hotels and brands will start losing money hand over fist? I suppose it's hard for him to be completely broke because all that real-estate will still be worth quite a bit if he is forced to sell. Not sure what he has in stocks.

he kept borrowing money and went bankrupt 6x. Then he runs for president while the IRS is auditing him and he has a phony foundation piggy bank going...did Trump not foresee questions about any of this?

get some publicity and also soothe his ego because Myers and Obama nailed him at the dinner in 2011.

According to a woman who fell for his candidacy and became a media director for the SuperPAC before becoming disgusted after it was closed down, she discovered that his original plan was just to make a respectable second-place showing in the primaries. But then he started winning and drawing huge crowds, and his ego took over. He became addicted to the adulation and couldn't stop.

He became convinced he really would win the presidency and in his ignorance of the constitutional limits on presidential power, be able to act like a dictator and, as Omarosa imagined, make everyone bow down to him as the "most powerful man in the universe."

Edited to add link to article about that media person in his SuperPAC:

Former Donald Trump Super-PAC Official Sorry For Creating 'Monster'

By Stephanie Cegielski

Even Trump's most trusted advisors didn't expect him to fare this well.

Almost a year ago, recruited for my public relations and public policy expertise, I sat in Trump Tower being told that the goal was to get The Donald to poll in double digits and come in second in delegate count. That was it.

The Trump camp would have been satisfied to see him polling at 12% and taking second place to a candidate who might hold 50%. His candidacy was a protest candidacy.

It pains me to say, but he is the presidential equivalent of Sanjaya on American Idol. President Trump would be President Sanjaya in terms of legitimacy and authority.

the bleeding has already started. Booking at some of his places showed it dropping even during the primaries. Someone here posted a chart showing it dropped the first of the year compared to last year the same time. A lot of his low or no risk income is from trump branding. His international branding appears to be taking a hit. Calling a Saudi prince "dopey" in a tweet I'm sure would be cutting off partnerships or funding from there.

is that he now makes most of his money from licensing his "brand." He doesn't build buildings or own real estate outright so much any more - he can't get loans from any U.S. banks, and chances are that what he does own is mortgaged to the hilt. His whole philosophy on wealth is based on using debt to take advantage of tax deductions. So if he becomes a pariah as a result of this debacle, his name or brand won't be worth used toilet paper - and if nobody wants to slap his name on their golf course or resort or cheap neckties any more, he won't have as much income to pay down his debts. If he can't actually pay his debts the tax deductions will be useless and he'll have to declare personal bankruptcy, not just business bankruptcy.

I think he could bring in the ratings -- his fans watching to see him excoriate the Democrats and the Republicans alike, plus a few sensible people watching out of morbid curiosity. If Fox News agrees, then the smell of money would probably erase the memory of past tiffs.
