Trump's Hysterical Supporters Could Really Get Dangerous.

I would not want to go to a Trump rally if I were going in protest. I would be a regrettable experience. Trump is turning them into a frenzied lynch mob with all this outrageous accusations. Driving people into fearful rage has consequences and I wonder what things will look like as we near the election. And election night may not be celebratory if and when Hillary wins.

There is a real possibility that Trump will not concede and will contest the election even on the most flimsy grounds. Even now he is claiming that election has already been rigged and stolen before the voting begins.

1. He is behaving as if he will contest the election

if he loses (and he will lose), but if he throws one of his usual temper-tantrums, he may find that people are not going to reserve rooms at his hotels, will not buy his products generally.

If he loses, and especially if he loses Arizona and Georgia for example, it won't be because the election was rigged but because he ran the shittiest campaign in the history of the republic.

I forget who his guest was, but they were talking about the various women who've exposed the Con's sexual escapades and the guerst described the woman from Fl. believes her life is in danger so she's going to leave the Country. Chris responded "OH MY! If something violent like that happens....." He stopped. I don't know if someone told him to shut up, or he just decided he shouldn't complete that sentence. We ALL know what he intended to say, and I think he's right. At least I HOPE he is.

*From "I, Claudius"

Does anyone have a breakdown of Trump supporters, or a suggestion of where to find that information?

How many are voting for him who just vote unknowingly and don't give it much thought?
How many are frustrated at how they perceive the government have treated them?
How many are really old (and cranky), and like to wear the Trump hat and t-shirts with misspellings? Think Tea Party veterans.
And how many are actual are actually going to get off their sofas to put their lives in jeopardy by arming and fighting (Militia wannabes, skinheads, Klan and who else am I leaving out?)

I think that Trump will give most of them a TV network, where they can fall back into their comfy chairs and agree with the hate monger programming, while consuming mouthfuls of Hot Pockets and Tater Tots. (Sorry, Fox, you're about to be foxed up the...)

Like most of his believers, they will have The Trump Patriotic Network do their thinking and feeling for them. They will buy Trump gold coins, Trump knife sets, and Trump scenes from American History display dishes (Including the wall he intends to build). It will be Trump and his troops doing commercials and commentary - to fleece the common folk for The Donald.

So, the last thing Trump wants (I'm hoping) is to have his audience shot up. He wants to get them mad enough to buy his merch. Now, they can put their money where his wallet is.

After the election, you will find most of his voters, cursing Clinton from the safety of their double-wide or extra wide loungers - and a little poorer.

Then, of course, the network will declare bankruptcy, because of those immigrants stealing the TV signals.

As for the few who turn to violence: Let their poison hatch out. This country needs to confront these self-deluded people. We'll see how "committed" these patriots really are, when they have to face the consequences.

8. Does Trump currently sell anything that the deep red south and midwest buys?

Trump has "luxury" items imported from low wage countries and believes slapping his name on them increases their value. I don't know that there are any Trump hotels in Alabama, Mississippi, or the Dakotas. Other than campaign baseball caps and T-shirts, Trump products are not targeted at his largest base of support. He may "love the poorly educated" but he doesn't try to sell to them because they don't have extra money to pay for his name on an otherwise ordinary product.

Maybe after he gets trounced in the election, "Trump" will be synonymous with "cheap imported crap", but could his ego withstand putting his name on die cast model cars and commemorative coins? Order now and get the special "Screw your contractors" coin in a deluxe, polyethylene protective case!!

If he assures them the coins are elegant or will give them money-making powers beyond their wildest dreams, then yes he will open up a new revenue source. He doesn't have to touch his audience, just appeal to their aspirations and anger. That always works. Who really went to his casinos? Wasn't all high-rollers.

Ad: An Outer Trump Family Member or Factotum speaks off cue cards:
"Enjoy living like The Donald. Buy this new series of Famous Millionaires and Billionaires Collectible Plates. (Rich China made in China). What a rich experience for you and your envious friends. Me, I would not eat off them. I'd display them. Years from now, this valuable investment will pay off when you pass the plate to your heirs. The first in this series is John Jacob Astor, the luxurious fur coat trapper, is free. Then each month you will receive this month's Millionaire or Billionaire plate. (Photos of JP Morgan and Richard Mellon Scaife plates float across the screen). Now, that's elegant. Just pay shipping and handling. Order now and get a special autographed coaster of The Donald himself. It's free, but you have to order in the next 10 minutes. Imagine in the years to come, gazing at the men who made this country great, elegant and huge. And, and every time you take a sip of cold Trump Beer or Trump Power Cola, remember the one who was cheated out of the presidency* (small type at the bottom of the screen *By the voters)."

Luxury is in in the mind of the beholder of the TV remote. If they bought into Trump, they will buy into Trump anything as long as he and they don't have to work much and he is the center of attention.

Of course, under Hillary, they may even be able to afford his products.

IMO, Trump is not going to put his name on a "Wait, there's more" product. In his mind, he's very rich and "Trump" means limited and high class. His ego would never let him sell via TV.

14. Taking me too literally

When the Trump TV network begins, he will need a lot of content, and that content must be paid by advertising and donations from Putin and other subscribers. Eventually Putin will lose interest (and a lot of money he gave him), and then infomercials will reign.

If Donald ducks Putin's anger, Trump's "brand" will lose its cache and he will start making Trump 5 and 10 deals. Eventually, he will be relegated to Larry King and Trump testosterone pills. Maybe even Trump Snuggies.

He will probably make more money that way than he ever did in construction or steaks, board games, ties, real estate university scams and casinos.

Lot of shut-ins and cocooners out there in TV land, dying to spend.

"Limited and High Class?" I don't think so. He sells his China-made dreck to wannabes and losers, who think he has a secret pathway to wealth and women. Sort of like those AXE commercials.

There was nothing ever high class about Trump. He's a tasteless huckster with a heart of fools gold.
