Same reasoning applies. I was not precise in what I meant about an 8 yr old talking about sex. Of course they wouldn't talk about sex, at least in a way that we would recognize. But he was "grooming" her, allegedly, so I assume he was communicating with her in some way concerning sex.

That you're talking to an 8 year old. I won't rule it out, but it also said that he sent child pornagraphy to her, which would be a different matter.

Ritter had a very high security clearance for quite a long time which means people watched everything he did online, or anywhere else. Look at his prior assignments.

If this had happened to him 3 years after he had disagreed for months with the purported existence of Iraqi WMD's based on his personal experience in the field no one would have thought more about it. Sexual predators don't just flip a switch one day and decide to predate. They have a long behavioral history. Certainly if Ritter had a past "they" knew of it long before he was arrested in 2001.

I am no fan of Assange, but to make such claims with proof that is questionable at best is wrong. Until actual proof comes out, judgment should be withheld. I think that someone with a grudge against Assange is trying to smear him.
