General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsAt my Saturday bookclub meeting - we were discussing "Men Explain things to Me"
by Rebecca Solnit and of course this led to a Trump discussion and Trump's sexual abuse and two of the women starting sobbing and a few others said they feel so stressed by this election. It was probably the most emotional book club meeting we have ever had and we have been meeting for many years.

Multiple reasons to be emotional about this election.
He is scary.
His supporters are scary.
My daughter tells me his projection reminds her of what my ex did to me.
Women who've been assaulted/abused/minimized/etc see their * in him

I am not upset or angry at you just trying to explain why some people are actually sobbing about this election. I could not believe the roller coaster of emotions that I went through on the day Michelle and the idiot spoke back to back. I went from a huge "high" to an I can't believe this "low" in a matter of minutes.
