(8,203 posts)just as we have witnessed
the many investigations for nothing
the govt. shut down
the lack of nine judges at SCOTUS
the blatant racism of many in congress
the conscious decision to thwart any progress presented by the President
party over country of most republicans in congress
austerity so says Paul Ryan "ayn Rander"
They need to go..I voted Saturday - in the mail - in AZ - Hillary and Tim, and Ann Kirkpatrick - by by McCain..oh, and by by Arpaio...yes increase minimum wage, and yes on marijuana..
and I'm not falling for the Bond Prop - for police, and fire funding..they usually use the kids and education..but no one ever knows where the money goes..so until they are transparent - nope, ain't giving you any more money..be well all..

(15,805 posts)They only want the power without any responsibilty. Look at the last 8 years under Obama when covert racism got a wink and a nod. Republicans have worked hard to obliterate the office of the president and destroy Obama's legacy, even if it meant wrecking the country in the process.
Republicans have made no effort to work at improving the country they claim to love, or uplifting the people they give lip service to. Obstructionism is policy now. That will intensify with Hillary's presidency. The racism card will be replaced by the sexism card, refueling the misogynistic rightwing base, and sending a shock wave of fear throughout the old boy's political club who still believe a woman's place is on her knees... either scrubbing their floors or giving them a BJ.
Won't they be surprised!

(20,851 posts)Paul Ryan's house is hopelessly fractured. Not the Democrats versus Republicans but Republican on Republican. There is no other side of the aisle. There is a constant power struggle in both the house and senate GOP leadership that overpowers any policy message they might have. Ryan just like the speaker before him can't even pass a budget without a full out brawl. There simply is no Republican party anymore. There are a collection of power hungry office seekers that worry more about petty personal issues, becoming a lobbyist, and looking good for the hate radio hosts. Into this vacuum came Donald Trump...
