Economy Grew Under Both Reagan and George W. Bush

Donald Trump is claiming that his economic plan will not increase debt because it will cause growth. The economy grew under both Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush. However, we went from a creditor nation to a debtor nation under Ronald Reagan. Growth under Reagan was around 4%. Under George W. Bush American debt went from $5 trillion to $9 trillion. Just because you have growth does not mean you will not have debt. Donald Trump's tax plan cuts taxes while at the same time asking for increased spending. That is a recipe for adding debt to the countries balance sheet.

Every Democratic President has left the economy better off than they started with. Every Republican President has left it worse off. Facts are facts. I wish those good hearted people who vote for Republucans could see that.
