My 22 year old co-worker cane over to me today and said she watched the debate. "You're right, he really is an asshole!"

They view her as in the tank for Hillary.

After the third or fourth question she tried to get another question in. You could see a quick glance from Hillary while she chose another reporter. There appeared to be a simultaneous flash of almost disdain flashed at Andrea as Hillary was passed over. No love lost there.

...HRC said, "Hi Andrea" and kept right on walking, leaving the reporter-turned-hack stewing in her own juices.

I can't remember what obnoxious thing Andrea did that got on HRC's last nerve, but I swear I heard the twang. After that, she started being ever so politely treated as just one of the gaggle.

Andrea Mitchell has had a long career, and she was one of the pioneer female TV broadcast journalists. Remember that when she gets eulogized at her retirement party, because that much is true.

But sometime in the last many years she changed, and imho seldom rises above hack status anymore. Time to retire.

He has good access to trump but I think he knows trumpo watches his TV appearances and tries to not slam him too bad when he's live to keep his access but does give you the temp of Trump and if you read between the lines you get a good shot of whats in the guys head.
