Here in Ohio, you can go to your county board of elections website and find out when they receive your ballot and if it is accepted. Remember, it may take time to get thru the process; I sent mine in the 13th, it was received the 20th (most mail gets across town in a day, but this time...) and today I see my ballot has been accepted. Absentee ballots are the first ones counted after the polls close Election Day. That includes the in-person early balloting, so when they give first results, we're the folks they are talking about!
Check your local BOE website and make sure your vote counts!

I hope more people will check in this thread and post links to their State's ballot-status websites. It would help DUers and others who might come by for a visit to look up if their ballot has been received and counted!
