MORE: Trump lawyer asks for evidence about 'beauty pageants, casinos and corporate bankruptcies' be excluded from court filing
article:
Trump's attorneys asked a U.S. judge to bar accusations about his personal conduct that have arisen during the presidential election campaign, which would include allegations of sexual misconduct, from the upcoming civil trial over Trump University...
In a court filing late on Thursday, attorneys for Trump said evidence and statements from the election campaign should be barred from trial because they could unfairly prejudice the jury. The trial is set to begin on Nov. 28.
Evidence including Trump's campaign speeches, tweets, his tax issues and controversy over his personal charity should not be considered by jurors, the filing said.
"Before trial begins in this case, prospective members of the jury will have the opportunity to cast their vote for president," Trump's lawyers wrote. "It is in the ballot box where they are free to judge Mr. Trump based on all this and more."

should be included. I agree the other stuff, unless it shows a pattern of lying that is relevant, is not admisible.
It is a shame that he was never asked a debate question about Trump U (or was he in the primaries?).

He pissed off Judge Curiel and I don't think His Honor will give him a millimeter, let alone an inch.

(19,264 posts)8. I think the judge has more integrity than that.
Most of those things would be inadmissible and are unrelated to the merits of the case. I think this judge (and any competent judge) would rule it all out unless a direct link to the merits of the case can be shown. The bad news for Trump is that jurors are humans and they probably are already aware of most of the disgusting things he has said.
