Would be a great DNC chair. Idk if she is interested in that, but she is a great surrogate and very relatable.

(22,056 posts)Perhaps as Labor Secretary or Health and Human Services. She's tremendously dynamic and she has a lot to say and do. I'm sure that she and Hillary Clinton have discussed their futures together.
Governor Granholm's speech at the 2012 Democratic National Convention was electrifying and I never get tired of it. Thanks for posting it, longship.
She topped herself at this year's DNC:
I'm a huge fan of hers. I believe she was born in Canada so she's disqualified for POTUS, sadly. I can't wait to see what role she'll have in the Clinton Administration.
(Edited to delete a dupe of her 2012 speech.)

(28,151 posts)Send her to the SCOTUS! She was a most excellent AG in MI. Much better than she was at politics.
On edit: She'd also make a great AG in DC!

(783 posts)Of course I also didn't like Ronald Reagan, and I lived in California when he was governor.
Maybe it's similar to being unwilling to eat food from a bakery or a restaurant once you've been in the kitchen.
That's the only thing I don't look forward to after this election -- seeing Granholm on the national stage.

(58,728 posts)not sure of her qualifications as to what she'd be best at, but she certainly comes across as intelligent and well organized.
She's been on various talk shows and has been a good advocate for Clinton.
