Trump's daughter-in-law: Trump forced FBI's hand

Donald Trump's daughter-in-law said the GOP nominee forced the FBI's hand after the bureau announced it was examining newly uncovered emails in Hillary Clinton's email server investigation.
"I think my father-in-law forced their hand in this," Lara Trump said in an interview with Rita Cosby on WABC radio. "You know, he has been the one since the beginning saying that she shouldn't be able to run for president, and I commend him on that."
"And I think if he had not put that pressure on, I don't even know if we would be seeing this happening right now."
On Friday, FBI Director James Comey revealed in a letter to lawmakers that the bureau had uncovered additional emails that are likely pertinent to its investigation into Clinton's private email server and said the agency would take the proper

If true, it would mean that Comey bowed to political pressure in an attempt to influence the outcome of the election.

Pretty sure that's illegal.

New batch of e-mails comes up in another investigation...

Maybe the same ones, maybe some new ones, probably both... Likely nothing more damning than anything already seen but still requiring a review...

That information leaks, either through back channels or just as part of the record...

Trump makes it known that he will make a big deal out of it on a national stage. "FBI is hiding new investigations etc..."

FBI decides it's better to put the info out themselves instead of letting Trump frame the narrative and we get what we saw yesterday.

Likely nothing illegal there but stuck between a rock and a hard place.

is true, then as you said that has to be illegal bowing to in this case Trump, 10 days out from an election where it may benefit Trump.

I would hope that Clinton, Obama & the DNC would pull out all the stops on this & I think she needs to be called in to explain.

It sounds like Comey is in Trump's pocket. What does Trump have on Comey that he could force such an action? A little blackmailing going on? A little sexual hanky panky in Comey's closet that Trump used to "force" him into this?
