if the lies are intentional, or if he's just that ignorant. One of his new targets is Common Core (state-run), and I just heard him say that he would no longer fund Sanctuary Cities.

And when he isn't overtly lying, his crowds cheer meaningless shit that can have no possible (positive) bearing on their lives, like repeal of the "death" tax.
