If I click on the anti Democratic banner ads does it cost the Koch brothers money?

I'm no Internet marketing guru but I do know that those banner ads cost money in some way shape or form. My only question is this, if you click one of those ads does it provide the sites that they link to any benefit or does it just cost them cash?
