Members of group honoring FBI boss have longtime Trump ties

FBI Director James Comey accepts lifetime achievement award at dinner organized by nonprofit Federal Drug Agents Foundation; group's board includes 3 people with ties to Donald Trump.
Among them: the CEO of the company that publishes The National Enquirer, the developer of a Trump-branded tower in Toronto and a convicted felon whose company rates Trump businesses for luxury.

An FBI spokesman said the foundation provides disability, bereavement and personal crisis support to federal agents and educational and charitable grants.

The head of the FBI serves at the pleasure of the President.

I can see why Obama would not fire him before the election, but Obama said he was not gonna fire him at all.

Obviously things are going on that we are not privy to....but yikes.
