(3,266 posts)as well! I might have to reach for the Ambien...wierd to be so worked up about an election, but I'm just going to be so RELIEVED for the ugliness and tension to be - well, at least diminished if not complete over.

(15,369 posts)last night! I am saving my energies for a victory celebration tonight that will extend into the wee hours of tomorrow morning because I am six hours behind EST and nine hours behind PST.
I have voted and have done everything I can (contributed $, phone-banked, and canvassed, as well as urging everyone I know personally of either political party to vote for Hillary) to help with this effort. I am 70+ years old and there are many who are exactly like me!
Now all that remains is to GOTV for those who have not yet voted and Hillary's ground game is outstanding.
I have already voted and so have most of those I know. They have all voted for Hillary. If more are like us than not, then Hillary will win - it's just a question of her winning percentage. I am much more concerned about winning the Senate and making LOTS of gains in the House. These down-ticket races are the only way to ensure that a President Clinton can enact her agenda.
I wish that we could win in the House, but GOPer gerrymandering has hurt our chances. Still, if we win a majority in the Senate and make meaningful gains in the House, I doubt that GOPers will be as obstructionist and unwilling to compromise as they have been so far. They know that we will be gunning for them in the mid-terms.
No, it's not over yet. But the "fat lady" is definitely singing her heart out.

(48,955 posts)first blamed it on DST, then blamed it on the nasty cold I have (and it's cough), now - third night - it is definitely around worry around this damned election.

(269,057 posts)In a bowl pour a few in boiling water - cover your head with a towel over bowl and inhale about five times - lift towel - repeat. If you can repeat every three hours.
Cough and cold will vanish overnight
