Better than Bond or Star Wars because it's real life.

Thanks for posting, grits! Did you vote yet? I'll hit the polls on my way to work.

Here comes #45! Like the baby lizard, she's evaded all the snakes the Republicans could send after her and survived.

I kept wanting to close my eyes, cause I hate snakes, but I had to make sure the little one got away.

That lizard looked too big for the snakes' mouths.

These are the snakes: http://galapagosconservation.org.uk/wildlife/galapagos-racer/

and the lizard: http://galapagosconservation.org.uk/wildlife/marine-iguana/

(I suppose the young could eat eggs or tiny animals, but there's no mention of that on Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marine_iguana#Diet , and the constricting behaviour of the snakes was to kill, not deter). And it was the lizard trying to keep still, and running the moment a snake noticed it (not sure it's that's clear in the clip, but it was in the full programme)

When the wav of lizards starts coming at him, good stuff. Although if that was a TV show, and that lizard was the hero, of course it would get away like that, especially that last jump, because there's another episode next week.

Definitely not a popular picnic spot I'm guessing.

BTW, have you ever heard John Mayall's version of Grits? Killer live tune from his 70th birthday bash!
