James Carville said Republicans are the angry Party - Democrats are mostly satisfied.

It is an important point and I think he is mostly right.

The anger and hate is mostly coming from the Republican Party. That needs to be understood.

The Republicans I know are discouraged beyond words and some have already told me they won't vote. Trump's insane base will vote, but there aren't enough of them.

4. So true! What they don't realize is how much they advertise they have miserable lives.

I mean, most people try to keep that off to the side somewhere but the loudest of the Republicans are openly 'bragging' that their lives have little meaning. The contrast is amazing.

Democrats SHOULD be angry. The Clinton witch hunts? The flood of laws infringing women's reproductive rights? Rampant racism, churches burned, young people dead or brutalized on an excuse by police? The prison industrial complex? Transgender murders and legal ostracism? Erosion of school curricula into right wing agitprop?

We've been losing these fights because of "satisfied" white liberal dudes like Carville. Come tomorrow morning, job one is NOT to be satisfied, but to demand change, and woe to any scum sucking GOP good 'ol boy standing in the way.

In GOTV I have come across one Democrat who was undecided and will decide in the voting booth...and one who was voting for Johnson...I have seen no one say they were voting for Trump...most like Hillary and are enthusiastic...so the media driven meme is not correct...Democrats like Clinton. It is the media (many) and the GOP types who hate her.

Considering his status in life.

However I suspect many Democrats are sickened by our governments at all levels that seems to favor big money interests at every turn of the road.

I'm not sure that Carville's right about Democratic anger. I know I'm one of this site's more conservative members, but I'm still p____d off about the c__p the Right has pulled for the last quarter century plus. I look forward to the day when Democrats not only control the White House and both houses of Congress, and when special committees and the Justice Department can get to work dismantling the Radical Right's political machine.

it's differing levels of anger for me.
Raygun started my anger, it grew slowly.

Then Dec. 2000 Levels of anger as yet unknown.

Mostly discouraged by those not paying attention.

It's the way they drive, too.

Dems' anger is based on reality: income inequality, climate change, police shootings, protecting women's health, etc.

Repubs' anger is based on conspiracy theories, fear of diversity, treating women like equals, homophobia, etc.
