Looks like voting is really heavy here in KC, Mo.

All the parking lots at the polling places are packed and lines are clear out the buildings.

I am not sure what to do because I can't stand for very long. There is no way I can stand in line for an hour.

go down to your corner drug store and see if you can buy/rent one of those walkers with a seat on it.

Best wishes.

Or ask one of the voting officials for a folding chair. I think even the people in line with you will be willing to help.

I am sure I am not the only one who can't stand for a long time. I can't go until this afternoon anyway. I really want to vote in this election. It's just too important.

I'm disabled also and can't stand for long either so I know what you're up against. I think with a light fold-up chair of any kind you'll do well. And don't forget to take any medications if you need those (sometimes I get so excited, flustered or forgetful that I realize I didn't do it until after I get to my destination ) plus bring water and perhaps a protein bar just in case. Good luck! !

I have never voted anywhere with people so bad that waiting voters wouldn't shunt the old/injured/sick to the front of the line.

Only problem might be that people would get worried, carry you home, do the yardwork, and provide meals.

Really, there cannot be many places in this country in which someone like you wouldn't get help in the voting line if you asked for it. Just speak up.

Went at 2:15 and no line. Got right in. Could sit down to fill out paper ballot.

I am glad I made it.

There was a voter protection guy sitting right up front. Have never seen that before.
