There is a Meme going around saying there are no Democrats on Mt Rushmore.

Just *think* about that.

When I pointed out that Thomas Jefferson is the founder of the Democratic Party, a Trumpster told me that he was not.

Lincoln and Roosevelt championed what many today would call liberal policies. The parties, basically, flipped their affiliations after the Civil War.
