My ballot didn't ask me to vote for President...

I've voted in most every election -- local, state, national -- since 1978. This was the first time I noticed that my ballot told me to vote for the ELECTORS for President.

I'm not saying that it hasn't been there every time, just saying that it's the first time I noticed it. I didn't vote for President today...I voted for a bunch of convention-goers and hope they all respect my vote.

When I read about this idiot in Washington who signed a pledge to vote for Hillary Clinton and now says he won't under any circumstances it made me think how silly it is that we are going to trust the will of probably 80 or 90 million voters to a a few hundred people and expect them to do the right thing.

What if it came down to one vote and this moron threw the election into the House? Does everyone understand what that would mean? Each state get one vote. Montana gets as much say so as California. Do you think for a minute the Republicans who have already shown they lack any moral fiber at all would hesitate for one minute stealing the election?

Our system needs to change.

and the small states would never allow it.

It would upend how campaigns work. Thats not a bad thing, but it would mean a battle for cities and an abandonment of votes in rural areas.

Lots of consequences. Not sure we even know them all.
