I feel like right now, President Obama is our "Dad" protecting us from the monster outside the door and in two months our "Dad" will be gone.... then the monster can't be stopped.

I guess I thought my post sounded childish. This horrid situation has really deeply emotionally upset so many people all over the planet. I'm So Glad we have DU back!. It's really helping.

Trump's expression is universal for "shame" - both corners of the mouth turned downward.

Trump most notably turns his mouth corners downward whenever he is being booed, and often you can see him make an exaggerated long eeee expression.

I am not sure if he actually is internalizing or experiencing the feeling of shame as you and I feel it; I am saying that turning the corners of the mouth downward is his bodily response in several situations he has been in this last week.

So at the least, autonomic reflexes in his body know he should feel ashamed, even if his sociopathic mind hasn't quite arrived at the same conclusion.
