Is there any chance GOP Senators would switch to Independent or Dem?

Total Senators 100
GOP have 52
Dems have 46
Independent have 2 (who caucus with the Democratic Party)

So power is 52 GOP to 48 Dems

We would need 3 GOP to either go Dem or go Independent and caucus with the Dems. Is there any chance of that?
Likely scenarios would be -

Jeff Flake (will be primaried in 2 years; most outspoken against Trump)

Susan Collins (Didn't support Trump)

Other possibility would be Lindsey Graham (sure to be primaried)

Realize its a long crazy shot. Just wanted to throw it out there.

It's more likely that a Dem Senator could or would switch to the Repub side. No Vested Interest Nov 2016 #1

I'm thinking Sen. Joe Manchin of WV., who will also be up for re-election in 2018, in a state that was never in doubt to go Repub. in the national election in 2016.
I'm hoping Manchin doesn't switch, but it has been put out there in the media as a possibility.
