The last 3 times the Republicans held all 3 branches of gov't (for more than one term)

Early 1900s - Panic of 1907 which led to the formation of the Federal Reserve
1920s - Housing bubbles formed in the mid-1920s and the Great Depression followed Herbert Hoover (worst President ever?)
Early 2000s - Financial crisis of 2007/2008, the Great Recession, massive housing bubble

Can't wait for the next four years!! WOO HOO!!

** - note...I mean to say the White House, the House, and the Senate. Although them having the SCOTUS now will likely make things worse!!

The direction you are coming from makes little sense. I say that as someone who believes we should be running stronger progressives. Crist should have tanked under your thoughts.

"Well, HRC is a moderate and a progressive... and that did not win the election." Could be the worst election analysis to date.

Seemed to be dripping with sarcasm yet I have seen many a poster echoing the same sentiment as if it were a bible verse.

How about we field Democrats who can be expected to understand party loyalty.

Especially with a bunch of full-of-themselves trumpers thinking that they are going to 'change things'. The corruption and failures are going to be epic.

Hoover wasn't anywhere near the worst president. He wasn't intellectually malleable enough to recognize that the philosophy he held wasn't working, but he wasn't stupid, craven or evil, like W or Buchanan.

Early 2000s should be "We invaded the wrong freaking country."

The Dems took the House and Senate in the 2006 elections.

They think it is 2006? May I remind you, we took office in January of 2007...and by that spring the economy was already failing and with Bush as president...what could we do? When the Dems (who were hounded because they voted for Tarp) told the president no tarp...he reportedly threatened martial law...yeah and we have spent the last eight years crawling out of the hole that Bush created...if we don't get them in the midterms by taking the Senate then we are pretty much done...especially with the courts.

I purposely said 2006 election so that anyone who understands politics would know we weren't seated until 2007. No need to remind me.
