Is anyone else's blood pressure up?

I am trying to not get too upset but it is really hard. Every day brings a new calamity.

I have a close friend with diabetes and her blood sugar is sky high right now.

I think I need to get out in the cold air and walk for about a hundred miles.

and makes me wonder if this is not the strategy... Overwhelm us all on so much disgust and horror, that we can't react to EVERY one of his calamities.

The ONLY thing keeping me sane right now is my long 2x daily walks with my precious pup in the beautiful CO sunshine (with a tiny bit of fresh snow this morning) and my morning puppy cuddle time.

Shock Doctrine formulation of government. Freak everybody out to the max so that while they are trying to recover all kinds of bad and oppressive legislation gets passed and then you have Pinochet shit going on all over again. It's been the plan for decades now, silly us for not noticing. We sonssed and lost, big time.

was *they're just fucking with us now".

Then when I saw Mike Pompeo for CIA Director, I knew that "Idiocracy" was actually a prescient documentary of Trump's future presidency.

Introducing, in this corner, President Donald John Orange Crush Camacho Trump...and the bell sounds.

I'm not laughing though.

problems and came down with the flu even though I got a shot and can't seem to shake it. I feel like my whole body is just going haywire due to the anxiety and stress. I should really just avoid it all but it's like a train wreck - you can't look away.

The day before yesterday you could have scraped me off the ceiling. I keep telling myself I will not let that fetid orange blob influence my mood, but the depression does not want to lift. In the past, I've always counted on my good sense of humor to get me past things, but I can't see past the damage this is going to do to the country to laugh about much of anything.

More than anything.

These guys are like the Bundys. All they know how to do is destroy everything they touch. It is all about the money

Yes, I'm still afraid, but when I hear about t-rump breaking his promises to his supporters, I can't help but laugh at them for being so gullible and falling for his crap.

And Nixon and Reagan. Cheney was just as morally decrepit.

But I think
this is worse .

I am going to have to take a break from the
news .

illness and what it means for our future. The shrink was really speechless--not just sitting there waiting for me to talk--
with what I unloaded yesterday. He said he's seen quite a few people in the last week also very disturbed and upset about
the election.

I had to calm myself from having a panic attack the day after the election. Literally had to lie down and focus on my breathing to relax.
When my husband and I start talking about it, I get totally wired. I can feel my body tensing up.

Went to a luncheon with a friend yesterday and she had a stiff neck. Classic psychosomatic stress.
