Republicans Own It All Now

Republicans Own It All Now

https://politicalwire.com/2016/11/18/republicans-own-it-all-now/

"SNIP............

James Hohmann: “Trump and the congressional Republicans who have chosen to make their bed with him are responsible for what happens from now on. There is now no one to blame if they can’t pass budgets, avoid shutdowns, deal with sequestration, replace Obamacare, destroy ISIS or reverse the continuing loss of manufacturing jobs. If climate change gets worse, it’s on them. If Syria continues its downward spiral, it’s on them. If more countries acquire nuclear weapons, it’s on them. It may be totally unfair, but that’s the way our system works.”

“This is a rude awakening that faces every president, regardless of party, but it will be especially acute for someone who has demonstrated a preternatural unwillingness to take personal responsibility for anything.”

... and provide Republican-voting idiots a scapegoat for the inevitable problems.

As long as we're not turned into radioactive ash through Trump's idiocy and bad temperament, we just might arise out of this mess stronger than before.

The party of personal responsibility will NEVER, EVER take personal responsibility for the mess they have created.

That is what I hate about them most of all. Mature adults admit when they are wrong. There are no mature adults in the republican party. Not one.

... the Federal government in shambles anyway. It's easier to destroy than build.

I've met Republicans who actually think the Federal government always makes matters worse.

Pointing out that our national defense, national currency and banking system, national laws that enforce contracts and other matters doesn't faze them. Some of them seem to think that can all be handled locally too.

Some of the worst ones worked in government jobs. They observed some mismanagement and seem to think the private sector is better. It's NOT! Every private company where I've worked has been managed by morons, and it often amazed me that they still made a profit given the many poor decisions and wasted money.
