Neither candidate offered economic justice, and that's not a new phenomenon.
It's kind of fun to paraphrase Franklin. Here's one I find apt:
A voter between two corporate Parties is like a fish between two cats.

(46,179 posts)I'm not sure if we've been doing a great job of keeping it during my lifetime, or if we ever did, or, even, if it was ever worth "keeping," at least, in its original form.
We've accomplished some good things, but the worst runs throughout our history like a vein of rot, constantly re-erupting.
