Many people would like to see @Nigel_Farage represent Great Britain as their Ambassador to the United States. He would do a great job!

(7,255 posts)4. Great judgment there, Donald. Even Farage doesn't think he's up to the job:
"Oh, I don't think I'm the ambassadorial type."

Farage is just exploiting the fact that Trump knows fuck all about British politics. The only British politicians he knows about are those he's in permanent feuds with.
The idea has found support in some places, if not among the UK government:
Brits Should Accept Reality and Make Farage Ambassador to DC
http://observer.com/2016/11/brits-should-accept-reality-and-make-farage-ambassador-to-dc/
A disclaimer at the bottom of that article reads:
Disclosure: Donald Trump is the father-in-law of Jared Kushner, the publisher of Observer Media.
The reaction to Trump's tweet is NSFW in places: https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/800887087780294656
