Scott Brown is silencing Elizabeth Warren

It's a dubious tactic. By pulling out of the Massachusetts debate the GOP keeps Warren's message off the public airways.

Debates are free campaigning. By not participating, Brown and the Repukes force the Warren campaign to spend money while stopping local and/or national dialog that might ensure. Win-win for them.

Yes, they're really afraid of Warren.

Warren calls it the way she sees it -- not many politicians have the guts to do that. I think it scares the crap out of the GOP.

the influence of media for GOP candidates. They did everything right in my eyes, worked hard to get their message out. We seem to be fighting a meme or a series of interests that are intractable. I"m sure that some people find whatever it is that Scott Brown stands for or against appealing. Or he wouldn't be there in the first place. If Warren does not get the win, I hope she will consider running again. She is an impressive individual with strong beliefs who would be a great voice in the Senate.

So its going to a tough to make the argument that Brown was afraid to debate her a fourth or fifth time.

Why is nobody calling the Cherokee Nation 'birthers' for requesting proof of eliezabeths claims?

as a United States senator, you imbecile.

Why won't Scott Brown talk about why he voted for the Blunt Rubio amendment? Why won't he debate in any medium that isn't swamped with right-wing press?

but I think they're afraid of the truth. Particularly in this one election. They've taken a calculated gamble, in their minds, that not debating is less risky than debating. And I don't think this is Brown's decision alone. It came from higher-ups.

Whether or not Brown's chair is empty during this debate is up to him.

"There is nobody in this country who got rich on his own. Nobody. You built a factory out there — good for you!

But I want to be clear. You moved your goods to market on the roads the rest of us paid for. You hired workers the rest of us paid to educate. You were safe in your factory because of police forces and fire forces that the rest of us paid for. You didn’t have to worry that marauding bands would come and seize everything at your factory, and hire someone to protect against this, because of the work the rest of us did. Now look, you built a factory and it turned into something terrific, or a great idea — God bless. Keep a big hunk of it.

But part of the underlying social contract is you take a hunk of that and pay forward for the next kid who comes along."
