What The Hell Happened To All The Vietnam Vets?

I am a Vietnam vet having served with the 1st Cavalry Airmobile Division in Vietnam 11-67 to11-68. During this election my wife and I were extremely active with the Democratic party in our area. I am usually wearing my hat identifying me as a vet.

Now I have been active for a very long time. And I have seen other vets involved but they are WWII vets mostly. Now I realized I am the ONLY Vietnam vet who is active in our county party. No others in sight. Now that some of our WWII vets are no longer involved because of age I am just about the only active vet. I am like the last of the Mohicans in this regard.

Now Viet vets I do know of are RW wing extremists. So what the "f" happened. Why are so many of Vietvet so GOP? The GOP is the party that raped them all these years.

The American Legion where we do Dem breakfasts once a month is a bunch of racist bigots, RW zealots and homophobes. They tolerate our meetings because we give them money through our breakfasts.

The only other vet I know right now is and Iraq war vet who ran for a county office. He lost by quite a bit. Our present DA is a grifter with NO military service miking the taxpayer.
