A small blessing in dark days: I got a new job.

I was already planning to take Election Day off when I got the call to go in for a promotional interview with my employer (at a different facility) on the exact same date and decided to go in as an opportunity to keep myself busy and mind distracted while the country voted. Yesterday, I receive a verbal offer for for the position at more than I dared hope for. So, unless Trump tanks the economy (and I know he might), my family will be able to catch its breath and actually get ahead. The funny thing ism there are an awful lot of openings where I'm going to work for such a "terrible" economy.

I agree....I also got a really good job with really good benefits...in this terrible economy. ?

Trump is dead set on tanking the economy. GWB took 7 years, but the bankers know that there were no prison time and they all got bonuses, so they are also ready to go full speed.
