(11,366 posts)Clark is a host - Tawd is simply a contestant.
If it's popular, Clark will be back. Tawd will not.

(21,925 posts)I'm a big supporter of Obama but the reason I even joined DU in 2003 is because of General Clark. Author, Rhodes Scholar, first in his class at West Point, Silver Star in Vietnam, White House Fellowship scholar, Degree in Economics from Oxford, fluent in Russian, and liberal. Even though I was struggling to make ends meet, I gave the maximum contribution of $2,000 in the 2004 campaign to Wesley Clark because I admired the guy. In the very dark days of the Bush administration when I left the Democratic Party and joined the Greens in protest of the Iraq War Resolution and the utter disgrace of Democrat after Democrat siding with Bush and Cheney in support of an illegal war, I thought a brilliant man like General Clark could lead us out of the wilderness. I was outraged to see how he was treated by the media, by Limbaugh calling him a Clinton plant and distorting his words to make it sound like he was a believer in time travel (it made me sympathetic to the way Kucinich was ridiculed by the media over a UFO sighting) and Tucker Carlson given a major platform on CNN to describe why he thought Wesley Clark was a terrible candidate. Let me tell you, I create a George Bush every morning on the toilet. All George Bush's money including his family's millions can't buy the quality that is in Wesley Clark at any price. I met General Clark when he came out to the west coast. He's a very honest man who loves his country.
It hurts to see Wesley Clark to fall to this level.
