Her husband's family is Amway. Her family has several RW ones. Her brother is Erik Prince, former owner of Blackwater. A really horrible choice all around.

in ultra-conservative Grand Rapids. The Scamway fortune gave Betsy a chance to become the Michigan Rethuglican's queen-maker. Now she can fuck up education on a national scale. Marvellous.

Do they really expect corporate American to open privately funded charter schools close enough to them to be convenient? Where will their kids go to school when they finish slashing funds to public education to subsidize corporate run schools?

We're so fucked.
