I love Bill Clinton. But we all know how unwilling he is to shake things up. He suppressed the hostages for votes intel that Iran gave him in order to avoid an internal conflict within the US. He supported the Bush family in the wake of the stolen 2004 election. He is all about the kumbaya---which is great if you are dealing with other sane, rational, moral people, but not so smart if you are surrounded by career criminals (i.e. Banksters and Big Oil) who want to plunder the economy at any cost.
Bill Clinton once said that Al Gore and Hillary are the two most idealistic people he has ever known. He may be right.
Hillary, since you will probably never run for president again, you have nothing to lose by challenging this election and everything to gain. Look at what happened to Al Gore after he stood up for democracy in 2000? "Sore Loserman" went on to become a national treasure. He won a Nobel Peace Prize! He has won an Emmy. A Grammy. "An Inconvenient Truth" won an Oscar. He was runner up for Time's Man of the Year. He put climate change into the national dialogue----during a Bush Presidency, no less!
Your political career is not over, Hillary. Even if the challenge does not unseat Trump/Pence, by going to bat for America's voters you will prove yourself the idealist that Bill claimed you were.
Maybe you are afraid that Trump will keep his finger's-crossed-promise and prosecute you. No problem. If the attempt to overturn the selection fails, Obama can pardon you--for crimes you never committed. You will not be going to jail. You might be going to the White House. At the very least, you will energize your party and restore people's faith in the political system. At the very least, you can call the legitimacy of the Trump/Pence presidency into question, neutering him before he gets into office.
Prove that you are a fighter. Fight for America.
WWAGD? What would Al Gore do?

And Hillary is not Al Gore. She will let next week come and go, leaving it to the soon to be called "conspiracy theorists" to continue the fight which will go nowhere without her support.
