The American people are able to adapt...

...and we will adapt to the shocking political changes in our country. We feel the fear and we see the danger. We witness the stress amongst our families and friends.

Yet, we will adapt to the reality of what has happened. We will never accept it. Our consciences and experiences will not permit us to do so.

But, we will adapt and move beyond the demagogue that has been thrust upon us. We will build a plan to take back the country from the authoritarians and usurpers. We will unite in our anger and sadness.

The reality is upon us.
