It's just that their patrons in the Health care vulture industry think they can steal even more money if Medicare were dismantled. It's a profit opportunity!

The proposed "reform" is to privatize it and give out vouchers for insurance instead of actual insurance, so the insurance industry can take a big cut of a decreasing budget. Like Social Security privatization, it's a straight-up scam that will hurt a lot of people who are already in desperate straights, but benefit the insatiably greedy 1% -- a.k.a. Republicanism.

instead of talking tough then rolling over like a poodle. He has a lot to prove to me. He has been going along to get along for decades, time for him to actually work for the people.

He needs to demand Congress work full time rather than making $200,000 a year for part time jobs.

As much as some of them would like to push Granny in her wheelchair off a cliff, their motivation here is naked, unvarnished greed.

They want trillions of our hard-earned dollars to flow to their masters -- mutual/hedge fund managers and the bankers on Wall Street -- where any growth would be consumed with fees.

My brain is on ONE TRACK?? WTF is that supposed to mean? It works very well, thank you..
I work out 4-5 times a week.
I travel 6-8 time/year overseas consulting.
I give private musical instrument lessons to gifted high school students preparing for college.
I eat almost no 'white' food.'
I cook Szechuan almost every day.(takes brains to do that)
I get laid any time I want, well within reason. LOL !! And everything works fine. !!!!!!:&gt ))))))))))))))))))))))))
I had cancer and recovered.
I had double cataract surgery- I do not need glasses. Do YOU?
I speak three languages. Do you?
My BP is 118/70. What's yours.

PLUS.. why would you ever wish something so horrible as losing their Medicare coverage on ANYONE, including 'old senile seniors?'

I WILL LOSE MY MEDICARE COVERAGE if this shit goes through.

Destruction of jobs, the economy, education, healthcare, the list goes on. This is decades old folks.
What they actually stand for is NO abortions, yet they support those that are born to die without healthcare. They say they support small government, but can you name one Republican president that had one. They break records of large govts. Yet support low national debt, yet when the GOP is in office, the natl. debt grows. They say they support voter rights, but GOP Governors trash voter rights.
WAKE UP AMERICA, VOTERS, how many decades do you need to be reminded what the GOP stands for.
The GOP stands for nothing. Its corrupt and dishonest.

We seem to have very short memories about what America is like every time a republican is elected President. 8 years of peace and prosperity during the Clinton years wasn't enough to keep Bush from becoming President. We all know how much damage Bush inflicted on not only the U.S. but the rest of the world, too. Obama, without any help from the Republicans, did an amazing job of putting back the pieces. Here we go again with letting republicans undo all of the good Obama has done.

In all seriousness, republicans disgust me, and so do all the people who vote for the evil bastards. How is it that people who barely get by in life and are dependent on SSI, Medicare, Medicaid, etc, vote against their own best interests?

is to destroy Medicare.

It is amazing to me that Dems do not raise this issue during
election campaigns.

It is almost as if they want to lose.

(And of course there is much more - the GOP also aims to destroy
the US postal service, public education, the CFPB, Soc Sec, and much more.

ALL Dem candidates need to hammer away at this.
