How to get in touch with Mary Mapes. Anybody?

Just saw "Truth", about the Dan Rather/Mary Mapes/60Minutes piece on Dubya's guard service.

I have inside 'been there, done that' info I'd like to pass along.
PM me, please.
I'm not a nut.
I just want to make her feel better about what she and Dan did.
Because they were right.

Thanks.

has been Trumped by the Republican Chickenhawk of Today, good old role model, Comrade Casino (R), who sports a glorious 5 military deferments (a badge of honor in RepublicanLand).

Why do chickenhawk Republicans so often shit upon and insult our troops and our veterans? Totally honks me off that they do that. Totally frikken unAmerican.

Was when Dan Rather (Robert Redford) said that in 1968 60 minutes was the first news program that made a profit. Then the executives asked "why can't we make more on the morning shows". Until then the news was a service that the networks provided because the government let them have the airwaves.

It's a paraphrase, but it says a lot about what has happened to the evening news, and 24 hours news. News can't really be objective and profitable.
