Paul Ryan Lays Out His Top Four Priorities For When Trump Takes Office

Paul Ryan Lays Out His Top Four Priorities For When Trump Takes Office

https://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/paul-ryan-4-priorities

House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) on Tuesday morning spelled out his top four priorities for Congress when Donald Trump takes office next year.

During an interview on Wisconsin radio station WCLO, Ryan said that Congress' first priority is to "get the economy growing" again by reducing regulations. He said that addressing Obamacare will be "early on the agenda," and that making changes to the tax code would come "soon thereafter." Finally, Ryan said that "securing the border is a high priority" without elaborating on what kind of immigration legislation congressional Republicans would pursue.

"These things can be done simultaneously," Ryan said, indicating that he would like to move quickly on all four priorities he listed.

The speaker said he was pleased with Trump's decision to nominate Rep. Tom Price (R-GA) to lead the Department of Health and Human Services, calling Price "one of the architects of replacing Obamacare."

what the actual fuck is his problem with Obamacare? It's not hurting Wisconsin. He can only be going after it for political points or out of pure meanness.

Because it has the President's name in it. He doesn't want anything that President Obama created to exist. He thinks if they obliterate anything Obama, they wipe him out. The venom and hate for such a remarkable man is ridiculous.

That was a right-wing creation. I call it the ACA.

Gee, I wonder just what changes those could be. Oh yeah, more cuts for the ruling class. "Addressing Obamare" equals getting rid of any components of it that help poor or working class people.

Peace

It's all documented and out there, for anyone who wants to find it. I've been posting this herenfor months and it barely gets a reaction.

Now people are reacting.

It's all about redistribution of wealth. He phased the cuts over a decade so that no one would see an almost 100% payday to the billionaire class coming. He needs to pay for it somehow, and he'll do that by gutting Medicaid and Social Security.

He masturbated over his "Better Way" proposal throughout two terms of Obama. With Trump, he sees his moment of glory.

That's pretty much what he's up to.
