Boehner and Cantor are getting scared.
News broke yesterday that House Republicans cut $4.7 million worth of checks for their Battleground Program of attack ads. After selling out to corporate special interests and the extreme right-wing, House Republicans are starting to panic about losing their majority.
They should be scared: were dead serious about winning the House majority for President Obama.
Keep up the pressure: Contribute $5 or more before the June 30th FEC deadline and your gift will be match dollar-for-dollar by House Democrats >>

(28,017 posts)They have supported too many blue dogs, and have ignored important issues, say, like, Wisconsin.
I have and will continue to contribute to individual candidates, but I just do not trust these three organizations any more. MoveOn, yes, along with a few others.
Debbie WS's inaction on Wisconsin really left a bitter taste in my mouth, and I will not forgive her. DCC has spent too much on a few candidates who turned around and shat on health care or other important issues. Same goes for the DSCC.

by channeling it to Conservative, Big Business, Blue Dog, Free Traders in local Democratic Primaries.

The DCCC/DSCC, the DNC, The White House, and ANY donation supported national Agency
has absolutely NO Business interfering in local Democratic Primaries.
When they do, it is ALWAYS to subvert the Will of the People.

White House support for Blue Dog Blanche Lincoln
I donate what I can afford directly to Progressive Democrats,
especially Progressive Challengers in Democratic Primaries.

The same criticism applies to the White House. How would send Joe have hurt?

(60,075 posts)Our governor races. I'm not sure I'd want them taking control of our state wide races. They are welcomed to our Congressional races, but let us control our state houses.

(28,017 posts)AND, the GOPers have no such reluctance to use every single resource possible. How many top GOPer pols went to wisconsin? Quite a few, I recall. On our side? silence.
That's fucked up, some how.

(60,075 posts)We have the best of conditions. Walker can't do shit, and we will still have him to kick around. I want him in office when he gets indicted. A sitting governor getting indicted has more impact (and TV exposure) than an ex governor getting indicted.
ChairmanAgnostic
(28,017 posts)especially the indictment bit. But, I think a little more than a last minute statement of tepid support would have been nice.

(60,075 posts)portion of the public that would vote no because of their dislike of the recall vote as a law. They felt it should only be used if the governor had committed a crime in office. I think the outcome would have been different if he had been indicted and the public saw all the evidence against him.
