Scott Pelley is SUCH a dork.

"The Department of Transportation MAY allow phone calls on airplanes!"
This is what passes for "NEWS" on CBS now.
WOW!

OK, it's not all Pelley's fault.
I know his producers choose what goes out on the airwaves.
But really, he IS so dorky with his square jaw and his spread collar and his just...I dunno...'boy-next-door' persona.

Well Scotty, the nation is going to hell.
Seriously.
And you're talking about being able to be one of those annoying assholes that likes to subject unwilling captives in a confined space listen to how important they are.

His persona strikes me as that of the senior pastor at a relatively well-heeled Methodist church(like the one Dubya pretends to attend)-the sort that specializes in vaguely comforting but excessively generic eulogies.
