Trump Responds to Report of CIA Assessment Russia Intervened in US Election

Trump Statement Denies CIA Report Validity

The Trump transition team has just issued a statement in response to a Washington Post article published Friday night that reveals a secret CIA assessment finds Russia intervened in the U.S. election to help Donald Trump win.

"These are the same people that said Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction," the Trump transition team statement begins.

"The election ended a long time ago in one of the biggest Electoral College victories in history," it falsely continues.

"It’s now time to move on and 'Make America Great Again,'" it concludes.

Those people are long gone, they were Bush people.
Plus this is a different intelligence team/sector.
The Saddam team would have been from the folks like Valerie Plame covering the Middle East and this would be the Russian/European team.

Plus I didn't know a month ago was a long time ago.

Our self-dealing and opaque President-elect is already at war with the intelligence community. Expect his party to fall right in line and national sovereignty takes a backseat to blind Republican ambition. And none of it has anything to do with our personal or economic security. Our media will be of next-to-minimal value.

I am pessimistic.

don't let them lie about it. Remind everyone. Again and again.

It was Cheney and Feith and the Republicans at OSP not the CIA.

that she could have ever known that Trump and so many in his campaign were tied to Putin's Russia.

Meanwhile, Paul Manafort continues to stroke and massage Trump daily. http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2016/11/30/torture-lobbyist-paul-manafort-still-advising-donald-trump-on-cabinet-picks.html

Remember the old adage about not picking a fight with someone who buys ink by the barrel; I'm thinking similar caution would be in order when the organization involved is known for its black ops....
