LOL! Unable to get big stars for the inauguration, Trump team now telling media he doesn't want them

Ran across this pathetically transparent excuse while checking Twiitter for Trump news this morning, when I found a Daily Caller story

http://dailycaller.com/2016/12/19/trump-reportedly-not-interested-in-hollywood-guests-and-performers-for-inauguration/

referencing the original TMZ story

http://www.tmz.com/2016/12/19/donald-trump-celebrities-inauguration-parties/

Reportedly, Trump is so focused on getting to work as President that "it's almost as if January 20 doesn't really matter to him." Uh-huh...

The lying leaking Trump team also took pains to let TMZ know that Trump himself supposedly isn't involved in planning the inauguration. After all, think how embarrassing it might be if it was too widely known that not even the Orange One himself could convince any celebrities to show up for his big party.

Palestrina might be a bit ... odd ... at an inauguration but it's great stuff. Meanwhile, it seems that even the flat-singing fake opera singer Andrea Bocelli has begged off.

There are enough celebrities who are right wing assholes and I assumed some of them would have been more than happy to perform at the inauguration. I think they are wisely listening to their managers and staying out of it---these celebrity's business people realize what segment of the population has the disposable income to attend concerts and buy music. And they are not Trump supporters

but I do remember Trump saying at one point, after criticizing Obama for taking a vacation or having a state dinner, that if he were elected, he wouldn't have an inauguration. He would be sworn in at the WH and by the end of the day would repeal every Obama EO.

Ted Nugent and Kid Rock already mentioned. But what about Hank Williams Jr.? Meat Loaf was drunk and yucking it up with Mitt Romney when he ran and now Mitt Romney loves Trump, or at least did enough to try and get a job with him but was probably more of a humiliating stunt by Trump. But anyway, what about the Loaf? Gene Simmons loves Trump, not sure about the rest of KISS.

They're all washed up and don't risk record sales so why not them supporting their favorite dictator with song?
