Within hours of confirming plans to appear at the inauguration of Donald J. Trump, the Radio City Rockettes were plunged into a maelstrom of outrage and conflicting messages on social media. Would some dancers be forced to perform over personal objections? The din grew on Friday after reports surfaced that the performers, who are part of a union, were contractually obligated to dance at the Jan. 20 ceremony in Washington or else lose their jobs.
In fact, the dancers appearances are voluntary, at least according to a statement relayed through Mikyl Cordova, a spokeswoman for the Madison Square Garden Company, which manages the troupe.

One could kick him in the big fat mouth and
after kicking his ass, turn him around and get him right in the balls.

(12,448 posts)That damage has already been done. I think he may have been kicked in the head as a child when he tried to bully the wrong person. Probably would disturb his hairdo. God knows, it couldn't get any worse.
I like the balls thing!

(26 posts)Bake a cake? Yeah, I know. Not the same situation. But I keep hearing people say it, and not just RWers. I don't watch the MSM, are they pushing the comparison or something?

(65,538 posts)demure, but the full timers were told their appearance was obligatory. The company could be spinning based on that discrepancy.

(26 posts)They signed a contract, they'll kick for Trump or find a new job. I hope they do the latter. All of them.
